As we have discussed on The Insider Lounge for the past week, Notre Dame was on the outside looking in for 2023 four-star running back Jayden Limar.
Last weekend Limar officially visited Oregon, which goes against Notre Dame's policy for committed prospects. As a result, the Irish no longer consider Limar committed after last weekend's trip to Eugene, Ore. When we reached out to Limar this afternoon, he told us he still hasn't made a final decision but plans to sign Wednesday afternoon. We expect it will be with Oregon. Limar is Notre Dame’s sixth decommitment in the 2023 class.
The general Rivals practice is to not update the commitment status on a recruit's profile until he announces a change, so his profile will still list him as a Notre Dame commit until that happens.
