Obviously, Notre Dame has some work to do at the position without any commitments yet. The Irish would like to add two or three safeties to the class by the end of the cycle.
As it stands, these are the 2024 safety targets worth watching most closely (in no particular order): Mike Matthews, Dejuan Lane, Kennedy Urlacher, Marquis Gallegos, Jaylen McClain, Davis Andrews, Kingston Lopa and Brauntae Johnson.
