On the mobile app login issues

First, on behalf of our site, we apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience.

A couple things to know about the app since this is a frequent topic of conversation.

1.) The site app is not designed by Rivals. Our publisher contracted an independent developer to design an app for us.

2.) Rivals.com has been making a lot of changes on the back end of the site (and on the front end as you've seen with the new message boards), and every time they do something of significance it immediately causes an issue for our app. Our developer responds quickly to these, but Apple (more so than Android) has a very thorough process for updating apps and it can take as long as two weeks before the issue is resolved.

3.) The current log-in issues will be resolved by late-July. We apologize that it will not be sooner.

4.) Rivals.com is currently developing a mobile strategy that may eliminate the need for our own individual site apps.

5.) Until our app is updated, the Rivals mobile site is actually extremely user friendly since the message board redesign. Open up safari or chrome or whatever web browser you use on your phone and put in http://wireless.rivals.com/news.asp?sid=961 and you will have access to everything in a very appealing manner.
