Golden can still coach LBs with him if he wants. They say that guy does a lot of coaching of the LBs anyway

That's a lot to ask. Safety and corner back demands different attentions. Hopefully they will at least get GA's or analysts to help Mickens.

Yes, that’s the assistant who will get elevated to full time linebacker coach, relieving Golden of this position responsibility; while Mickens get added responsibility for safeties. Mickens is very highly regarded and appears to be heir apparent to Golden, and so giving him added responsibilities and a pay hike is a smart move. Bullough is very highly regarded and promoting him to a full time position coach keeps another valuable asset in the fold.

Yeah....I agree . Think there needs to be separate coaches for each DB position.

They will probably make him pass DC or secondary coordinator and add a GA. That would be the smartest move. More $ for him. More responsibility to oversee bigger piece of the D.
