Notre Dame men’s basketball announced Wednesday evening that head coach Micah Shrewsberry is joining USA Basketball this summer.
Shrewsberry will report to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs (Colo.) on June 11. He'll be on staff as a court coach for the USA U19 Men’s National Team Training Camp.
During his time, Shrewsberry will help evaluate 35 basketball players before the staff selects 12 players to compete for the USA Men's National Team at the 2023 FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup on June 24-July 2 in Hungary.
This is the first time a Notre Dame men’s basketball head coach has been associated with USA Basketball.
