Grant Basile, a 6-foot-9 forward, scored a season-high 33 points in Wednesday's loss to Boston College for Virginia Tech. Basile, a graduate transfer from Wright State who the Irish tried to add in the offseason, is second on the team in scoring with 15.6 points per game, but he's averaging 22.6 per game in his last five games.
Sean Pedulla, a 6-1 guard, leads the Hokies in scoring with 15.8 points per game.
