Here are tonight's Lucky Charms...

*** I've put in a new FutureCast pick for Notre Dame to land Tampa (Fla.) Berkley Prep class of 2023 defensive end Keon Keeley. After visiting him last month and talking to him and his high school coach, the vibe was that this was a Florida-Notre Dame battle. I believe he visited Florida earlier this month, and the feeling following his weekend visit in South Bend is that he's strongly leaning towards the Irish. I believe he will make a commitment to Notre Dame this month. He's an extremely strong Notre Dame fit on and off the field; he will do very well there, if that is his destination.

*** I spoke to Miami Gulliver Prep class of 2023 running back Sedrick Irvin Jr. following his unofficial visit to Notre Dame today. The speedy South Florida recruit was one of Notre Dame's first offers in the 2023 class and has felt the love from running backs coach Lance Taylor for several months. Irvin was able to have conversations with Taylor, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and head coach Brian Kelly today, which all went well. Irvin told me that Notre Dame is a school he's been highly considering already, and this visit solidified the Irish as a top contender.

*** Notre Dame has three offers out in the 2023 class at tight end, and I would be surprised if they end up offering more than four at the position. One prospect they're keeping a close eye on is Thompsons Station (Tenn.) Independence's Ty Lockwood, who stands at 6-5, 220 pounds. He holds offers from the likes of Florida State, LSU, Michigan and Ohio State. He ranks as a four-star recruit and the nation's No. 96 player per Rivals.

*** Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage School class of 2024 quarterback Patrick Downes will camp at Notre Dame this Thursday. I do not know anything about him as a prospect as I don't believe he's on the college radar too much. But he's traveling around the country this summer to change that. He's listed at 6-1, 195 pounds.
