Feel bad for SH. A real stand-up guy. Most of what has happened has been out of his control. He chose ND to play and be coached by Tommy. That fell apart quickly so the transition to a new OC and QB coach was dramatic. And the drop-off in coaching has been even more dramatic.
Tommy also recruited the rest of the current QB room and Carr coming in January. Hoping they don't panic and 'reach' on a grad transfer QB. Regardless of who's calling plays, developing QB's are essential.
Too much blame on Stuckey and the WR room for the passing game woes. It's injured and young but when in the last 5 years has there been 2 quality WR's at the same time? The scheme that was implemented in the past using TE's was creative and productive. Staes and Riordan should be able to pick up the slack.
