Glad we found a new punter. Australia's been a big producer of those in recent years. He's 23 years old, but might have up to 3 years of eligibility.

Cool when you sign a punter called Thor, and the upside here is super high. But McPherson was a top 3 punter coming out, had a nice average, was a holder, and despite the article I don't recall a problem with touch backs. I am sure there are reasons he is now at Maryland but for a team that should be in the playoffs it's an interesting trade off. Any way here's hoping forTwo continents, one hero, foot of thunder!

Coach Shrew should follow his lead. St Mary’s of Moraga has been recruiting basketball players from Australia for over 20 years, and they play in the NCAA tourney annually. Not world beaters, but nearly always with a 7ft Aussie center with rebounding and rim protection better than we’ve put on the floor.

Seems like Shrew's going the mid-major route for a lot of transfers lately, with 3 new players from Princeton, Monmouth and Lehigh. Hope they work out.
