Someone is getting rich.

To bad none of that is spent of quality coaches salaries.
"To bad none of that is spent of quality coaches salaries"

And you know this how? You are aware than many of the coaching positions are paid from special endowments (i.e. Marcus Freeman - Dick Corbett Head Football Coach, Al Golden - Bob Hinton Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers, Gerard Parker -- John and Bobbie Arlotta Family Offensive Coordinator/Tight Ends Coach)? To name a few ...

Pretty good for a school that isn’t competitive in most of their sports. Highest paid AD in the biz and his coaches leave left and right to places that actually try to win.

Do you actually have an argument to the contrary because from where I'm standing the evidence is on @Airzee23 's side
Other than men's basketball...name the sports the Irish haven't been competitive in?

Link Jarret left ND for home. He grew up in Tally and graduated from FSU.

Brian Kelly had reached his ceiling at ND. Thankful for his tenure in rebuilding the Irish and looking forward to seeing if Freeman can coach the Irish to a natty.

And yet they've showed multiple times they aren't willing to spend whatever is needed to get/retain the best possible options. I really don't give a crap how much money they make if it isn't very obvious that it's being put back into the product(s).

NO ONE should outclass ND when it comes the things that money can make a tangible, noticeable difference on. And yet there are plenty that do. I'm not saying I have evidence that says otherwise when I say this but I'm just stating that if any other school offers a coach 3 million and ND REALLY wants that coach, they should offer 5. Or whatever. Money should NEVER be a reason for them. Ever. And if you're going to use other things as a crutch for your struggles or whatever then try to make up for it somewhere else. They should never be outbid. And they shouldn't be shy about publicly stating that money will never be an issue.

But hey I guess the amount of $ in the bank is how we're choosing to define "relevance" today rather than performance on the fields. Yippee.
