Much like Notre Dame's offense as a whole, Hartman feasted on weaker defenses, showcasing accuracy and production. But aside from a solid effort against Ohio State -- a game the Fighting Irish arguably should have won -- Hartman didn't help Notre Dame meet its annual goal of becoming a national contender.
