Maybe Notre Dame should just join the Ivy League and bring some friends along.I would bring Stanford, Duke, Northwestern, Vanderbilt and Boston College. College Football is done, with NILS and the transfer portal. These two items have changed CF forever and made it harder for those not in one of the major conferences to ever make it toooooo the playoffs. I realize they are going tooooo twelve teams in the BCS but you will still have just four teams winning it all, even if you put twenty teams in. It’s all about money, not competition. These four teams mentioned have built a base through who knows what before the NIL and transfer portal started, and that made it being legal ALLLLLLLOT EASIER to win and get all those 4 and 5 star players. It’s all about buying players like the NFL now. They should have paid players after they finished with school, putting the money in a fund or make them employees, so they have rules and regulations to follow along with all the consequences that come along with being an employee . Hell let them go pro after High School because they are taking up space of students that want to be there, go to class and get a degree so they can get a real job.Many of these “STUDENT ATHLETES” cause problems, get arrested etc, why have that kind of culture at your university. Many of these SA , can go chase arse, play video games, not go to class and get arrested off campus at their own house or apartment. Go Irish
