It actually takes Georgia out of the playoffs. They’ll likely have 2-3 losses now. If they knock off Bama or LSU that will help us. Clemson is a lock. Oklahoma needs a loss to a mediocre team. Hope Michigan can finally upset the Buckeyes. There are paths to the playoffs but nobody can be too upset. If ND belonged they’d have beaten GA.after the Georgia loss.
GA may well lose again, not impressed. Oklahoma win was a more significant blow . Any way you slice, ND will need help even if they win out convincingly. Just win baby

after the Georgia loss.
I don’t think so.
There’s a lot of football left this season.
ND controls it’s own destiny and has to win out in order to be in position to be eligible.
Georgia vs ND rematchIf it comes down to ND and Georgia with one loss the head to head is a killer. But GA might lose again before all said and done. ND Is looking at a NY6 game.
ND definitely does not control its own destiny.
Any loss by a team above us helps. And if it has to be UGA, we'd prefer they not lose to the highly ranked teams.
UVA flopping against lol Miami hurt more. We could end without a quality win.
If ND loses one more game, they’re out.
Hence they control their own destiny, they have to win out.
That’s not what control your own destiny means. It means if we win out all other results are meaningless, we don’t need help from any other teams. There are scenarios where we win out and don’t make the playoff, ergo we don’t control our own destiny.
So If UGA win the SEC you think Alabama is out?Georgia losing helps our chances. We cant have 2 sec teams get in.
Georgia will get a 2nd loss for sure. Thats our only chance of getting in. Only 1 sec team gets in. Georgia wasnt beating alabama or lsu in sec championship game anyway. They arent beating them. So 2 sec teams would have gotten in if they were undefeated. Now we can get in over Georgia if they have 2 losses. They may get a 2nd loss before sec title game and 100% theyd be out. The more teams with 2 losses the better chance we have. Sec only getting 1 team is our best chance
DisagreeI don’t think so.

What happens if ND loses another game ?
The Irish lose a close game in Athens while Ga loses to an unranked team in Athensafter the Georgia loss.
Definitely need Michigan to beat Penn State for starters. The Irish lose a close game in Athens while Ga loses to an unranked team in Athens
I think an arguement can be made for the Irish

ND on a 9 game winning streak will carry some clout but they would definitely need help. Texas beating an undefeated Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game would help. Hard to see a PAC 12 team making it.If we win out, it’ll be a close call. I can definitely see a 1 loss Wisc, OSU, OU, FL, UGA, LSU, Ala jumping us. They’ll all have better wins than us if they keep winning.
There won't be a Pac-12 team but, there is a very good chance there will be 2 SEC teams, there will be a Big 10, a Big 12 and an ACC.ND on a 9 game winning streak will carry some clout but they would definitely need help. We arent a playoff caliber team this year. Hopefully we get a good bowl with a winnable opponent to get our recruiting mojo moving.
