Weather ... ?

Wondering about the weather in South Bend and how it might affect the game tonight.

Watching O$U and Northwestern in Evanston (2 hours east of SB) ... and the weather really is having an affect on the game. NU 7 - O$U 7 at the half. Neither team is passing well, and punts into the wind are only going 20-30 yards.

Rain has moved out, but high winds remain here in Vincennes. I am about five hours southwest of the Bend on the banks of the Wabash. Go Irish! Beat Clemson!!

Remember back during Kelly's years ... NC State in Raleigh in hurricane conditions, yet Kelly tried to establish as passing game. No luck.

One reason it is important to have a strong running game. If the weather doesn't favor the pass, you always have the run to fall back on.

FFS. And this is Clemson and not some state school that has a million alumni, e.g., LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St., etc.
