Gibbs was great, his best outing of the year so far. We are actually pretty damn good.
Don't think so. Brey has made several references about how he feels that ND likely won' shoot it from deep this year as well as they have in the past.
Gibbs, Farrell, Mooney and even Colson will make some in bunches at times, but this is a team that is going to do more of its scoring in the paint and at the free throw line most nights. I'm fine with that, btw, should make them less streaky throughout the season.
We shot the ball 51 time yesterday and were only 4-12 on 3 point attempts. 21-39 inside the arc. We got to the line 17 times (13-17). Only 25% of our shots were 3 point attempts.
This Brey team won the game with 2nd half defense. Nice to know we can win a game with defense. That was against the #6th ranked team.
