From Pete Sampson:
Drew Pyne finished the regular season No. 20 nationally in passer rating. That’s three spots below Bryce Young and one below Michael Penix. It’s six spots ahead of JJ McCarthy and nine above Stetson Bennett. Pyne’s 155.27 is fourth best in ND history.

Respect.

Drew Pyne played well last night.

I have been critical of Pyne. However, he played one hell of a game. Stood tall and delivered while taking some big hits. The fumble was the turning point. It sucks but it happens.I know he felt worst than anyone. ND lost because of Williams spectacular play. But even more they lost because SC ran at will and dominated the line of scrimmage. Not much else to say. Hopefully the team gets better
