Nat Geo network will have two programs on the Fighting Irish of the Civil War (parts 1 and 2) on Tuesday at 5 and 6 p.m. Both have segments on Father Corby, the second segment involves Gettysburg. ND can be proud of the part he played in ministering to soldiers during the Civil War. The story said he was the first non-general to have his statue erected at Gettysburg. I believe the Fair Catch Corby statue on campus is a replica of that one.
