For premium positions, i.e., DL/Edge, corners, OTs, QBs, I’m default expecting them to look for NIL deals.

The article does not say -- so, we are all left to speculate. My "guess" is he is hearing from many people/schools, so, it is good that he steps back and sorts out everything. Too get him, it will be a fight to the finish.

From what I've been hearing Chicago was in a lull for a while. Still had the OL DL LB type talent. With the advent of 7 on 7 teams and the QB/WR/DB development Chicago is now starting to produce high end guys in those position groups. Take a look at the 2024/25 kids from that area.
