NFL Draft

You had emphasized Sanders height as to why he would struggle in the NFL. That is why I posted that.
Wow, I don't know how you can read what I posted and conclude I "emphasized" his height as a reason he would struggle in the NFL. First of all, I never opined he would struggle in the NFL, though it will not surprise me if he does. I was merely offering my opinion as to why all the hysteria surrounding Sanders dropping down the NFL draft board was just silliness when you take an objective look at the qualities he might bring to a team. The measurables are that he has average size, an average arm, and not a lot mobility. They say he is an accurate passer, but I haven't studied enough of his film to form my own opinion on that. I watched some of his pro day tape and he threw some wobblers. But it now seems abundantly clear that the main reason he dropped in the draft was not because of his height, his arm strength or his mobility. Rather, it was the intangibles that apparently soured many teams on him and led them to conclude that the potential upside was not worth the downside risk. If Sanders doesn't make in the NFL, it won't be because he is too short. But time will tell if the Browns made a good pick.

Your last 54 words are spot on.

The funniest thing is I didn't even mention you in my comment and you attacked me.

It's awesome knowing I'm living rent free in your head.
You came on here like usual and try to talk sh*t and then you get destroyed like usual and then you deflect by saying I attacked you

Awe the poor victim feels attacked. Ask Patty to help you with that. Everyone is a victim these days

I don't care what you say. I'm the one that's getting to you. I'm the one living rent free in your head and it's hilarious. 😂 😂 🤣

Add in, Steve Angeli is far more a Notre Dame man than you'll ever be.

Whatever you say Mrs Angeli

sanders is not prototypical size
his arm is good no more
his mobility is decent
he holds the ball too long
he is an arrogant entitled little shit
and his father is a huge pain in the butt
and some here are wondering why he went so late?

Shadeur is 13-12 in FBS with just 2 wins against FBS teams with winning records. He just isn't good enough to warrant the circus that comes with him.

Its the NFL, they don't have morals when it comes to winning. If Osama Bin Laden had the TE skills of Travis Kelce, Baltimore would have taken him in the first round.

I would submit that Sanders is overrated because of his dad, as opposed to the narrative that he is somehow being punished for that, and the NFL wants to stick it to Deion for some reason that makes absolutely no sense to me. Totally the opposite is true, the NFL would love primetime's son to be a star QB, that would be ecstasy for them. He just sucks, so nobody wanted him. He's a hothouse flower, and he probably won't be good enough for the NFL. The NFL would would love him to be a star, but individual franchises are just not interested enough. He's too shitty, and too entitled.

Meanwhile RL got drafted by the Colts, and I'm fired that up that he's going to make it in the NFL and become a starter. I watched a little you tube doc on Josh Allen's rise to stardom, because I really didn't know anything about him, other than he wasn't recruited out of HS because he was a farm boy from the San Juaquin Valley. But the similarities are striking, and the only thing RL seems to lack is Allen's preternatural arm strength. And his upbringing is the polar opposite, whatever that's worth. But what it is similar is what a raw talent Allen was, and was not a good passer, mainly just arm strength, and he had to patiently develop over his college and NFL career. And just like Allen, RL seems to have the same youthful enthusiasm that I would say totally bodes well. And obviously they're physically similar and RL is an even better athlete and runner.

So I say the Josh Allen comparisons are back on! A poor man's Josh Allen!

Riley Leonard did a job for us this year. Put it all out there; left it all on the field.
But anyone thinking he is going to be a decent starter in the NFL is deaf dumb and blind.
I think he can be a good backup. But that is his ceiling.

I think that's likely his future also. He was undeniably the best choice for ND in 2024.

They don't need him as a backup. He's a project with the talent to become a starter. If all you want is backup you go with someone else, who's a polished, proven passer.

no, he does not have the talent to be a good starter.
Yeah well screw you then. You don't know shit. And you're supposed to err on the side of supporting ND players, especially someone as good as RL. He did get drafted in the fifth round, it's not like he was completely passed over and got some shitty free agent contract. You don't got no money riding on it.

Oh yea? Well Brian Kelly sucks!
