NFL Draft

Is Sanders the biggest slide ever? Many had him in the Top 5-10 overall, now looking like it continues to the 4th round. And some here boasted about the talent at CU and how ND should be exercising the same tactics (looking at you Chase nut sack). Now same nut sack is pivoting about talent disparity among other teams while ND competed for a natty. He can wipe his tears and ass (sure he shit himself when almighty Sanders slipped) with the jersey hanging from the rafters after a 13-12 record.

Shedeur is better than Jaxson Dart, IMO.

What happened? No idea.

Gotta be baggage.

Watched him play a ton at Oregon. Good QB. Excellent feet. Good arm.
Not a starting NFL QB. Very good college qb. Very small, not a very strong arm at all, he's going to get hurt if he is ever a starter

5 safeties taken ahead of Watts. Bit surprised there. He's durable, experienced, made plays. Tested well. No character concerns.
I heard his combine/testing was pretty average and it hurt his profile as a prospect considerably. I think ND players are not being respected outside of O-line & TE maybe because SEC & BIG10 numbers/performance/film is a little safer? Who knows. If he was a 1st team AA playing in the SEC he wouldn't have made it out of the 1st round probably. Xavier Watts has been a total monster production wise (rarely gets taken out of the game and rarely gets burned and has been a ball hawk back there shutting down the opponents vertical passing game) since taking over at Safety full time at Notre Dame

Yeah because being at ND hurt Kyle Hamilton in the draft. Nice try. Try again

Obviously his measurable a were not what teams wanted but it's called Football and it requires football players.. Watts is a football player and a ball hawk. Falcons got a steal of a pick. Wish the Bills drafted him.

Kyle Hamilton had A+ size, A+ film, and was a top percentile athlete based on his combine results (although his 40 was disappointing).

Kyle Hamilton was a can't miss first round prospect after his Fr year.

This isn't a fair or accurate comparison. Totally different levels of prospect.

Well i certainly hope he doesn't use the same wipe for both.

Yeah. So him being in the SEC wasn't going to change Watts measurables. You're obsessed with the sec and putting down notre dame in any way possible. You're an embarrassment

Mike Floyd Harrison Smith Will Fuller also went 1st rd.

And all of these guys were drafted before the ACCenshitification of NDs schedule. I'm talking about present ND. Based on the results of the first couple of rounds, the SEC & BIG10 are being respected by NFL front offices far more than any other conference. This probably means they trust the film/evals/numbers/performance to translate well to the highest level maybe more so than some of the other conferences. They probably aren't penalizing guys as harshly for suspect combine numbers in those conferences as well. It could also just be a reflection of the SEC & BIG10 monopolizing most of the elite blue chip talent out of HS in recent years.

Wrong

Will Fuller and Kyle Hamilton both played when ND was playing 5 games a year vs the acc. So another incorrect statement. Try again.

Also does that affect where Clemson players have been drafted? Lawrence Etienne Wiggins Williams Watson Watkins Hopkins Spiller. They play a full acc schedule. All skill positions 1st rounders and not including their non skill position players

So what's your excuse this time around 🤣

Why are you dismissing the genesis of the point im making and straw manning my argument to bicker over the exact dates ND partially joined the ACC?

I originally made the point that NFL front offices seem to respect the level of competition in the BIG10 and SEC more than the other conferences these days which is why they drafted 26 of the first 32 picks out of that conference this season (a trend im sure has gone up over the last several years)

I also made the point that if Xavier Watts was in one of those more respected conferences, NFL front offices probably would have been more inclined to deemphasize the combine results and put more weight on the stats and film. But since he plays a lot of shit teams in the ACC/on NDs schedule, he was probably punished more harshly for lack of measurables/testing in the combine.

I also made the point that outside of OL & TE NFL front offices are probably evaluating ND players production more harshly as a result of their soft schedule (buoyed by their partial ACC membership) and just a general lack of notable prospects at those positions in recent years.

I don't remember how good the ACC or NDs schedule was back in 2013-2015 when Will Fuller played but I was more speaking to modern/present /last 5ish years where the ACC has fallen off a cliff along with the non-ACC slate on NDs schedule.

Because your comment was wrong and anti ND and ACC like usual when it is just a stupid argument. If you're really good, you will get drafted in the 1st rd. Like Will Fuller and Kyle Hamilton

Like all those Clemson guys. Like FSU when they went on their run. Last I checked the number 1 pick on the NFL was from Miami which is an ACC school.

Travis Hunter plays in a worse conference tha. The acc and went 2nd. Jeanty doesn't even play on the P4 and was 6th overall. Omarion Hampton full ACC schedule 1st rd RB.

Wasn't Drake Maye drafted 3rd overall last year. North Carolina full acc schedule. Duke and Clemson along with unc had 1st rd picks last year. Washington had multiple and they were pac 12.

I know you like to troll but your comments are so stupid it doesn't even make sense.

And you talk about schedules is so beyond dumb because you love F+ and there was only 1 team that had more top 20 wins all season last year than ND so again another terrible point. Just another huge miss by you
