Howard is much better than RL. I love the effort that RL gives us, but his passing skills are below average at best.
He's really not. Having the best WR corps in the country really helps

Why does Howard have 39 total TDs with 9 ints compared to RL having 35 total TDs and 8 ints when Howard has the best weapons in the entire country. You think it would be a bigger difference, no ?

Awful play call. When you have 1st down on the 1, go straight at it 4 times if you have to.
Agreed. Toss dont work against a fast defense like that. Not unless you add some misdirection and have them fooled.
Ball on the 1 yard line and Sark calls a terrible play for a 7 yard loss that changed the outcome of the game
Also out of the shotgun, which sets you back a few yards as well. Whatever happened to the old QB sneak?
Damn, that was weird. I was all disgusted with tOSU for letting Texas march right down the field to tie it up, including two PI calls on 1st and goal. And then they flipped the switch, totally shut them down on 1st and goal from the one, ending in a 4th down length of the field scoop and score to put the game away.

That's odd, because I remember you LOLing me when I said Texas had a good defense during the SEC title game. Glad to see you finally recognized talent.
I've always been a believer if you have a yard or less to go, especially if it's 1st down, go straight at it with QB under center. I may not be an OC, but I've seen it work countless times
Texas actually had a solid strategy on defense.....keeping the receivers in front of them. The offense couldn't keep up with OSU. It was a winnable game for Texas.
