Hate to say this but they're going to be very good next year. A lot of their guys decided to come back next year

They should be pre season top 3 next year

What's status of their oline returning? I assume some had to declare or run out of eligibility?

They were oline driven

They're one of the favorites for the Title next year. Too much talent coming back
yeah and they have a relatively easy schedule. Their two toughest games will be against first year starting qbs at ohio state and penn state. At penn State will probably be their toughest game especially if night white out.

Day will likely suffer his third consecutive loss. Have to wonder how long OSU stands for that or how long he feels like dealing with expectations and opts for NFL.

They lost quite a bit on D. Granted the O looks fairly intact. Starting CBs gone plus a lot of depth. We shall see.

Considering Michigan is vastly out recruited by Ohio State, I’m not sure how anyone justifies the two ass beatings they’ve placed on Ohio State. Have to figure it’s meltdown city if they don’t win this upcoming season or at least make the game competitive.

The schedule is embarrassing. Ohio State at home. And if you want to call PSU a top team, go ahead but they feast on the lousy Big Ten to pad their record also and lost to both Michigan and Ohio State last year.

Psu will be pretty good this upcoming season

With the team we have in 2023 I could see the game of the century developing in the playoffs. Notre Dame vs Michigan.

The Michigan football schedule the past two seasons (21&22) and for the ‘23 season are abysmal.

They play two games, OSU and PSU, if they split them they have a good shot at the playoffs Vs the trash B1G West.

Nope Ohio is a road game

PSU under Franklin is 2-6 against Mich (excluding 2020), have only scored 17 pts each of the last 2 years, and start a new QB as you said

Know the white out game is thought to be big, because ESPN hypes it, but they are 9-8 in those games

PSU won’t even be their toughest game

You said it. Franklin is 1-8 against OSU, 3-6 against Mich, 4-5 against MSU…his 3 biggest games in his division. Total of 8-19. Beats up on Rutgers, MD, Indy, Illinois and Nebraska

2023: ECU, Bowling Green, UNLV. Pathetic ooc schedule
2024: Fresno State, Arkansas State, at Texas (finally)

Harbaugh might as well come back a year or two. Once his poor recruiting classes catch up to him they’re going to struggle. He’d be wise to bolt before that. Maybe 1-2 years and he’s gone. Nobody flirts that much and doesn’t eventually leave.

Mr. Cooper would like a word on that...
2-10-1 record against Michigan with multiple #2 finishes at years end.

Jusy couldn't beat Michigan but they gave him 13 years and could only win twice.

Day has a few more losses to Michigan before any firing talks get underway

Franklin is so eerily similar to Brian Kelly.
Beat up on the weak and right off cliff against the strong.

Franklin does have a major bowl victory to his credit where Brian Kelly is still looking for his first. That is hilarious

So like ND with an experienced QB?

PSU draws Washington in their major bowls. We get the hardest team available.

Penn State was a better team than anyone ND beat this season.

I’m not buying this they’ll be very good narrative. They will be overrated and play absolutely nobody all season. If being good is measured by quality of opponent and who you beat then they won’t be good at all. If it’s measured by wins and losses then yes, they’ll be hyped as 2019 LSU good. Then they’ll lose to an under sized B12 darling in the playoffs. If Ohio State plays Michigan tough, they should be able to win this year finally. 🤞

The major bowl victory tag line is lazy

Franklin has lost to UGA, Arky, Kentucky, USC . Beat Memphis, Utah, Wash

I'd argue Harbaugh 2.0 is eerily similar to Kelly from 2017-2021. Lots of wins, soft regular season schedule, and then a bad loss in the playoffs/bowl game to end the season.

Harbaugh wouldn't be coming back to AA this fall if he didn't have a great team. They'll be legit. My guess is, he'll stay until the roster gets super thin.

Harbaugh is also like B0 Schembeckler's 2nd half. Usually dropped one game and entered the bowl ranked very highly contending for a title, only to lose.

Just saw that Harbaugh refused to fully settle the NCAA penalties from its probe. They say he lied, he says he couldn’t recall…and he won’t admit to lying

And we should care about Michigan why? Are you a covert Michigan fan or do you dream about having a sleepover with Jimmy?

Harbaugh will have to give his players more steroids now that there are 2 new real coaches in the Big 10. The OSU backups are 5 stars and better than Stroud. I would never prop UM or post on this board about them being good next year. I predict they will be 0-11.
