Notre Dame men's basketball will wrap up its Players Era Festival needing a win to avoid finishing last in this format. The Irish will take on No. 21 Creighton (4-3), who has lost three straight, at 1 p.m. EST in Las Vegas.
The Bluejays have three talented scorers: 7-foot-1 center Ryan Kalkbrenner, who is averaging 18.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3 blocks; 6-2 guard Pop Isaacs, who is averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists; and 6-0 guard Steven Ashworth, who is averaging 15.7 points, 5.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds.
The Irish will still be without star guard Markus Burton. Fellow sophomore Logan Imes has replaced him in the starting lineup alongside guards Braeden Shrewsberry and Matt Allocco and forwards Tae Davis and Kebba Njie.
