Colzie and Thomas ?Pendleton, Colzie and Thomas. Thanks for the time and effort young men!
I don’t think colzie caught one pass this seasonJayden Thomas is a loss, I guess not a huge one. But he was a totally serviceable player. Colzie is not a loss. And has been such a bust I'm not even sure who's going to be interested. Maybe ND didn't want him back. I'm not sure why he was highly rated, he was visibly not that great as a HS prospect.
5 for 41 and a TD - You know...a good drive for some players.I don’t think colzie caught one pass this season
Amen, seemed to be a leader in the roomShout out to Jayden Thomas. I always thought he played well whatever was asked of him, and was happy to see him have some nice plays in the playoffs.
I think the writing was on the wall... "totally serviceable" isn't cutting it. We all saw, and though he won't say it, Freeman and Denbrock saw that ND needs more dynamic weapons at WR. It's why that had already hit the portal hard for that position.Jayden Thomas is a loss, I guess not a huge one. But he was a totally serviceable player. Colzie is not a loss. We didn't hit it hard, we took two players. Unless we're out of scholarships I see no reason why Jayden Thomas is a waste of a scholarship. Colzie is nothing, no offense. But JT is totally decent and could easily catch 30 passes or so next year and be great. If the staff wants to just go with younger players and have a youth movement that's cool. But it's not like they're necessarily going to be any better.I think the writing was on the wall... "totally serviceable" isn't cutting it. Fair enough... I meant hit it hard as already going in and signing the position before seasons end. I don't think Thomas is a waste of a scholarship for ND as much as for the kid's decision it is becoming a number crunch thing. I think there will be more WR signees to come. Only problem is you aren't really going to find a big time play making WR in the portal. We didn't hit it hard, we took two players.
