they also got the top rated WR in the nation from the Chicago area back then also. a lot of us on various message boards a few years back were thinking something didn't seem right when you had a team that never won a lot of games on a regulary all of the sudden bringing in several top rated 4 and 5 stars kids
D1AA, here comes Hugh. Not a ton of sympathy from me for Hugh or the program or the administration. At the same time, be careful not to be too vocal in judgement of what's going on at Ole Miss. Chickens have a way of coming home to roost.

I wouldn't worry too much. That part of the country will always be down there. It's Ole Miss's turn but we can guess that Houston and Bama will take theirs in time.
Two full pages of Ole Miss news in the local Memphis paper with Ole Miss being only a hour away. Ole Miss is apparently sticking by their,"we believe Hugh Freeze ran a clean, ethical program" stance with the NCAA. They are repeatedly stated the firing/resignation had nothing to do with the NCAA investigation. NCAA has used the words "lack of institutional control" in their Ole Miss investigation. It doesn't look good for the Rebels.
