Notre Dame announces a home-and-home schedule with Florida in 2031 and 2032. First meeting is Nov. 15, 2031 in South Bend. Return game is Sept. 11 2032 in Gainesville.

Irish and Gators have played just once all-time, a Notre Dame upset of Florida in the Sugar Bowl on 1/1/92.

Can’t believe that Florida is coming up North in November!
I know right?

UF was traditionally more of a homebody than Bama. They would not cross the Mason-Dixon line. The Gators bowl games against the Irish and Sooners were the first meetings, and not too soon to meet again.

I guess there is a benefit to to the CFP's guaranteed mulligan.

According to the global warming/ climate change people South Bend weather in November 2031/2032 will be like Miami Beach circa 2018. Florida would have to go play Santa Clause and his elves in November 2031 to officaily play a cold weather game

Just for fun, who will be the coach on each sideline?

Florida-Dan Mullins

Notre Dame-Tom Rees, he’s ND’s HC after a successful run at a mid-major.

Starting QB Evan Sharpley Jr. hahahaha

It's a tribute to the strength of football in the south that one of the most mismanaged programs in the country can still grab a national title every so often.
