In South Bend or Los Angeles...I've seen a lot of these games but, for me it was 1989/90 and ND dug itself a big hole w/ a couple of gift td's from kickoff fumbles. It was damn cold and there was a brawl right below us so I fully expected the Irish to come back! Sure enough Rice, Watters, Anthony Johnson and of course Rocket helped ND take the lead late but, despite having a crack head for a QB in Marinovich he was still damn good in college! Within a minute they had 1st and goal but, 4 incompletions later the defending NC' and #1 Irish had won their 19th straight game🍀 great memories...btw the best player on the field that day was easily Junior Seau, lucky to have been there🍷
