Yup. He's pretty mobile. smart, can run, and does play action well. Even got some good deep throws in...but they don't seem to do this often.

I still like how ND matches Oregon or Penn State.

Watching that game, I wondered if maybe Penn State is better than the experts on this board give them credit for or if Oregon is just not good defensively.

I kind of think ND-Penn State would be a smash mouth bruising battle that either team could win. I think Oregon would be able to score too fast and would win in similar fashion to the way they won last night.

Sleeping on it, I agree. The Penn State offense was much better than I thought. I watched them briefly in big games, thinking they're a 1 dimensional running attack on 1 player.

The O line actually is good and powers a more diverse running game. Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen. QB is decent too, having done things with his feet too when needed.

Oregon D isn't that bad. Penn State turned it on. Their D however is suspect. Of course, maybe the Oregon offense is so good any D looks worse. Regardless, I'm now convinced Penn State is formidable...but Franklin doesn't have the winning touch.

Why are we still doing the “Peds” thing?

It’s stupid, no one in the administration, or the team has any connection to the Sandusky era.

Let’s remember that ND is a CATHOLIC University, and the Church was involved in a far greater, more widespread scandal that what occurred at PSU

Because the entire Ped U nation were unwilling to accept that their idol covered it up
So they will live in infamy
