Army winning helps as well. South Carolina beating up on TAM did the opposite. Lousy Rice beating Navy hurts, so does USC’s fifth loss which did not help as well. Northern Illinois losing to Ball State recently also on the bad side.Yeah, that has to help our resume. When you lose to lousy Rice, you were never a top 25 team. Navy was top 25 based on a super soft schedule.Rice man handling Navy didn’t help. But still counts as a top 25 downing.
Look at PSU. 0-1 against the top 25. Some might say “Illini were top 25”. You have to count it when you play them. Not when they pop in and out. Otherwise FSU if we win counts as a top 25. Losing hurts your mojo and can crumble a team.
Doesn't really matter. If ND wins out, they will be in the playoffs.Dirty Birds made the tigers look bad. Traded points for time late.
