A Small Rant: Georgia Tech Is Not a Neutral Game

I keep seeing our game against Georgia Tech labeled as a neutral site game. It isn't. Mercedes Benz Stadium is 2 miles from the Tech campus. Ga Tech student & season tickets include a seat at this game, while Notre Dame student/season tickets do not. This is a Georgia Tech home game that they agreed to play in a stadium that happens to hold an extra 20,000 or so people.

That's correct, and we're getting that exposure by playing a road game against Georgia Tech.

If you're a competitor. You don't care. You say anytime, anywhere.

Some competitors prefer the road w/ full stadiums/arenas. Makes it all the more satisfying when you win and see the fans leave in disappointment.

Thank God Georgia Tech does not have a bye like Purdue did before Notre Dame.

We would have Get Nasty starting threads calling out the Notre Dame administration.

Yes, it's a Georgia Tech home game. They're just playing it there to get more seating.
