Looks silly handing captainship to a first year player and will be even sillier when this staff is forced to bench him.

These first two games look like Denbrook was a huge mistake . He puts his new offense in and it is a lot worse than what we had in last years bowl victory . We scored more points in the bowl than we have in our first two gamed with practically the same players . This hirer will be Freeman undoing unless he gets Dembrook to be more creative . This offense is overly simplistic and doesn't make great use of what this team was doing well from last year .

What a terrible offense. From game planning to execution, just a shiit show.

Defense was equally bad for a half, it took them NIU was exploiting ND’s LB’s for 30 minutes.

What exactly did Denbrock do the past 8-9 months. Offense was vanilla and predictable. Defense was not motivated. Special teams was hot garbage.

I get that Riley can’t throw, but he’s never looked this bad. Coaches and players deserve blame and shame. I’m sure they’re good kids. They’re average college football players.

lol a wasted season when the schedule lines up perfectly. My season prediction is 9-3. Considering all circumstances, pathetic is the accurate word to describe this program at the moment.

After watching both ND and LSU games this week I am so glad MF is our coach. I was at first bothered with BK leaving because he turned the ND program around but after watching how MF coaches to how BK coaches it's night and day. MF coaches with a fearless and aggressive style that is infectious to his players. With him going for those back to back 4th down calls was fearless and aggressive. Even though they did not get the second one it shows the trust in his players. On the other hand BK had roughly the same call and he quickly punted and USC drove down and won the game. Then of course BK complains and whines about it but it's his lack of fearlessness and aggression that cost him the game and that reflects down to his players. He coached that same way at ND and it cost us some games. I love the way coach MF attacks the game showing his players how much he trusts them to get the job done. Go Irish!!

He's not that much slower than Riley Leonard and can see the field better and push it. I am kind of already over this Riley Leonard experiment.

We're running a Tim Tebow offense and then expecting him to drop back and precision pass after he takes heavy shots.

I thought maybe they were just playing real close to the vest because of A&M secondary but if this is the offense this year, this is going to be really hard to win a bunch of games.
