Notre Dame football is scheduled to have commits, targets and prospects ranging from the 2024 recruiting class to the 2027 class in attendance on Saturday for its game against Pittsburgh.
Inside ND Sports published our
visitors preview on Friday. The
running visitors list thread is also fully updated.
One visitor expected on Saturday is 2025 defensive tackle prospect Nic Moore, who I spoke with on Thursday.
The three-star recruit camped at Notre Dame in June for Irish Invasion and attends Dandridge (Tenn.) Jefferson County. He is the No. 28 overall player in Tennessee for the 2025 class and has seven total offers from Eastern Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (Ohio), Ole Miss, New Mexico State, South Florida and Wake Forest.
This season, Moore has visited Auburn, Duke and Virginia Tech.
On his excitement for Saturday:
"Coach Washington said, 'This won't be the last time you're up here,'" Moore said about their last interaction in June. "I've just been waiting until I could get back up there and here I am this week weekend. I'm excited."
On watching Howard Cross III and the defensive line:
"I'm probably going to be paying attention closest to defensive lines' hands and their ability to read and redirect, because as a defensive lineman, being able to redirect and read with things like play actions and pitches is one of the most important things to make explosive plays on the line of scrimmage."
The defensive tackle position is one I'm watching closely. 2024 three-star DT commit
Sean Sevillano Jr is expected to sign with the Irish in December. Besides Sevillano, Washington only has 2025 four-star DT
Davion Dixon committed in the 2025 class even though 2025 defensive end
Joseph Reiff might slide inside at the collegiate level. The Irish are also working to flip Georgia 2024 three-star DT commit
Nnamdi Ogboko.
