Really wish the kid good luck and good health. Based on his social media comments, he volunteered information that he was working through post surgical infection issues, which created some issues with depression.
We all love football, but in this young man’s case, it’s pretty meaningless, you just want to see him physically and mentally in a good place. He’s got his whole life in front of him.

Not a huge loss, he might have gotten some playing time next year but definitely wasn’t going to start. Wish him the best though seems like a really good kid
From a football perspective, not a huge loss as he was not expected to be playing a lot next season. From a personal team perspective, this is a huge loss as he has struggled with his mental health, and the team has witnessed the struggle and supported their teammate and celebrated each return to the field. I actually expected a medical retirement from playing football, so entering the transfer portal might signal great news for the young man. Wish him happiness and success.
