Not sure what anyone was expecting. Shrews is in his first year coming off the equivalent of a death penalty to the program. It will be a few years before we can expect an ACC roster to develop and win with. He needs some scorers and a couple bigs that can be difference makers. I like that he has these guys playing defense just more talent is needed.

This program is obviously not good but IMO things are in place for this team to get much better. It would be great if they could get to .500 and somehow get into the postseason NIT. Doubt it will happen.

This game was brutal to watch -- have seen better pick-up basketball games on the playgrounds.

But then again, if anyone was expecting anything major from the team this year other than to try and be somewhat competitive was looking in the wrong jar.
