I was watching/listening to the Notre Dame - Lucky Lefty Podcast with Shawn Davis and Malik Zaire (former Notre Dame quarterback). The guest for that day was Jeff Burris, and it was great to hear him tell of the many stories/experiences during his time at Notre Dame. He talked about his exceptional team/s and teammates, not to mention the coaches. They talked about the opponents and just special players that he had the opportunity to compete against.
Jeff talked about the connection between him and Tony Rice, being from the same area in South Carolina and how he arrived/chose Notre Dame. I love hearing from the former players and the stories that they are able to share. It provides a lot of insight and brings back a lot of great memories. Just Special! Go Irish!!!
