Ok. These I wanted to see more of early in the game to neutralize Clemson crowding the line.
1. Book under center with quick, off tackle handoffs/runs to neutralize Clemson lateral speed.
2. More flair passes to number 23 and 25.
Frankly, I don't think the players back for Clemson made that big of a difference. What did make a difference was Clemson deciding they could take away medium range routes and any deep ball
and crowd the line of scrimmage.
And, just when I thought Kelly had really overcome some of his coaching weaknesses; we saw a game tonight that didn't seem to show any anticipation of the changes Clemson would
likely make to their game. On the other hand, Clemson was much more creative responding to what ND had done during the first game.
Having said all that. I don't see how ND will have enough to beat Alabama in a semi-final game, unless we can truly control the clock for 4 quarters.
