Michigan following that blueprint now. Until '24 where they actually have some better teams on the schedule

When you are preseason anointed defacto champions, lose one of your 3-4 games against ranked teams, and still just have 1 sec title game to make the playoffs it is much easier than having to play 5 ranked teams and getting no respect because you play tsu or navy.
Not just talking about nd. Talking about most teams outside of the SEC.
