Number 27 overall. Guerby at 50, Carr is like 52, KVA 75. Kedren Young just outside the top 100. Bryce Young shot up to like 130.

This class is as good as any recents ones we’ve had at the top, it’s just the bottom half of the class is guys in the 400-500 range instead of 250-350 as was the case in recent classes. Hopefully we find a gem in the rough or two, and the top guys can live up to the hype

hold on to the class is the job now!
Knock on wood but our top guys seem more locked in than last season. It felt like Keeley and Bowen were on flip watch for months before they decommitted. Not getting that vibe from anyone in our class yet.

Don't tell Chase. He'll come back with some other measuring stick that has ND about 40th overall in recruiting.

247 used to show composite rankings by default, now they show their own rankings by default, so it's throwing some people off.
If we use the same measuring stick (the composite rankings) here's how it breaks down:

The blue chips:
1. Cam Williams, #32, 5 star
2. Guerby Lambert, #41, 4 star
3. CJ Carr, #45, 4 star
4. KVA, #73, 4 star

The rest:
5. Kedren Young, #123, 4 star
6. Bryce young, #163, 4 star
7. Brauntae Johnson, #178, 4 star
8. Logan Thomas, #184, 4 star

Then it's a big drop.

Solid class for sure but still way too far behind the types of classes the tier 1 is bringing in to have any shot to compete with them in any material way.

Bryce Young is #101 nationally

I agree with everything you said except the “any shot to compete with them.” WHO? We took OSU to the last play, just destroyed USC, beat Clemson last year. We’ve got to get better in recruiting, coaching in general and on the field play, but “any chance?” Stop saying that garbage

Compare Notre Dame's performance versus the modern powers and the traditional powers over the last 3, 6, 9 years

And don't just look at their performance in head to head matchups vs ND (which they've dominated in as well) but compare their overall performance over those time periods and you will see exactly what I'm talking about.
