I got word from Notre Dame 2025 wide receiver target Derek Meadows on Thursday night that he’s all set and scheduled to visit Notre Dame for its game against Pittsburgh on Oct. 28.

When Inside ND Sports caught up with Meadows last month, he floated the idea of visiting that weekend but could not confirm. Now, he’s scheduled to return for the first time since landing an offer in June’s Irish Invasion. He's previously said he wants to visit other schools on the West Coast but has yet to take any trips this season.

Meadows has called Notre Dame his dream school in the past and has praised wide receivers coach Chansi Stuckey for his effort in getting to know him.

In the recent Rivals250 rankings for the 2025 recruiting class, Meadows made the second-highest debut at No. 123 overall. He’s rated as a four-star prospect and ranked as the No. 4 player in Nevada.

Through three games this season at Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, the 6-foot-6, 179-pound wide receiver has three receptions for 60 yards.

Meadows holds eight total offers from Notre Dame, BYU, Colorado State, Hawaii, Nevada, UNLV, Utah and Washington. He's one of several wide receiver targets — four-star Talyn Taylor, four-star Quincy Porter, four-star Daylan McCutcheon, four-star Taz Williams Jr., four-star Cooper Perry and three-star Jerome Bettis Jr. — to know in the 2025 class for Stuckey and the Irish.
